Spinx’s time as an active Vitality player ends after a successful run spanning more than two years.
Vitality has officially moved Lotan “Spinx” Giladi to their inactive roster, signaling the conclusion of his impressive 878-day tenure as part of their starting lineup. Speculation suggests this decision paves the way for Robin “ropz” Kool to join the team.
Spinx’s journey with Vitality saw him achieve remarkable success, collecting seven significant titles, including a Major victory. Joining the organization in mid-2022, Spinx quickly made an impact by securing the ESL Pro League Season 16 title in his debut Big Event appearance.
Although Spinx faced challenges during late 2022, he rebounded strongly in 2023. His resurgence contributed to Vitality’s historic run, which included winning their first-ever Major at the BLAST.tv Paris Major and earning additional accolades that culminated in their recognition as the team of the year. Individually, Spinx was honored as the 5th-best player of 2023 for his exceptional contributions.
Reports confirm that Spinx had expressed interest in exploring new opportunities following the BLAST Spring Final. However, no transfer materialized during the summer break of 2024. While Vitality couldn’t replicate their 2023 dominance, they managed to secure a victory at IEM Cologne later that year.
Vitality’s current roster is as follows:
- France: Dan “apEX” Madesclaire
- France: Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut
- United Kingdom: William “mezii” Merriman
- Israel: Shahar “flameZ” Shushan
Coach: Rémy “XTQZZZ” Quoniam
Inactive: Lotan “Spinx” Giladi
This reshuffle marks the end of an era for Vitality and Spinx while setting the stage for new changes within the team.
