Virtus.pro has announced the addition of Timur “FL4MUS” Marev to its roster, marking the first move in the team’s rebuilding phase following the benching of Dzhami “Jame” Ali and David “n0rb3r7” Danielyan. The organization confirmed earlier reports from HLTV, solidifying FL4MUS as a key piece for their future.
The CEO of Virtus.pro highlighted FL4MUS’ aggressive playstyle, quick decision-making, and innovative approach as assets that align with the team’s vision for success in the CS2 era. This signing represents a pivotal step in shaping the team’s strategy for the coming seasons.
FL4MUS, at just 20 years old, has been turning heads in 2024 with standout performances. While playing for Nemiga earlier this year, he achieved an impressive 1.18 rating, helping the team secure a spot at IEM Chengdu and claim back-to-back victories in the RES Regional Series events. His consistency and impactful gameplay earned him a move to GamerLegion in May, a transfer that followed significant roster changes for the organization, including the departure of Isak “isak” Fahlén to Ninjas in Pyjamas and the benching of Frederik “acoR” Gyldstrand and Nicolas “Keoz” Dgus.
During his time with GamerLegion, FL4MUS showcased his aggressive rifling abilities, particularly during their RMR qualification run for the Perfect World Shanghai Major. He emerged as the standout performer, leading the scoreboard in three out of four series as GamerLegion mounted a remarkable comeback from an 0-2 deficit to finish 4-2 and secure their spot at the Major.
Expressing his excitement about joining Virtus.pro, FL4MUS described the opportunity as an honor and a significant responsibility. He added that he is eager to contribute to the team’s success and begin this new chapter with the organization.
FL4MUS is set to debut at the BLAST Bounty Season 1, an online event scheduled to begin on January 13. His addition signals a new direction for Virtus.pro as they aim to rebuild and reclaim prominence in the competitive CS2 scene.
The current Virtus.pro roster now features:
- Denis “electroNic” Sharipov
- Evgenii “FL1T” Lebedev
- Petr “fame” Bolyshev
- Timur “FL4MUS” Marev
Pavel “PASHANOJ” Legostaev remains the team’s coach, with both Dzhami “Jame” Ali and David “n0rb3r7” Danielyan benched but still part of the organization. This reshuffle underscores Virtus.pro’s commitment to building a competitive lineup and embracing fresh talent as they move forward.
