João “⁠story⁠” Vieira, a 22-year-old professional esports player from Portugal, has extended his agreement with SAW, securing his place with the team until the conclusion of 2027. The organization shared the news on its X account.

Vieira has been part of SAW’s roster since July 2022, marking over two years of collaboration. In the past three months, story has maintained an average rating of 1.09 across 42 maps, reflecting consistent performance.

Recently, SAW announced adjustments to its Counter-Strike 2 lineup following a disappointing attempt to qualify for the Major. Michel “⁠ewjerkz⁠” Pinto was benched and made available for transfer, with José “Shr” Gil stepping in to fill the vacant position.

SAW finished 9th-11th place during the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 Europe RMR, failing to secure a spot in the Shanghai Major. The team is currently ranked 20th globally.
