Finnish esports organization JANO has introduced changes to its Counter-Strike 2 lineup, parting ways with in-game leader Jussi “airax” Airaksinen. The departure was officially confirmed through JANO’s X social media account, signaling a shift in the team’s structure.

Having joined JANO in November 2024, airax’s time with the squad was relatively brief, and the organization has now brought in Joona “Sm1llee” Holmström to temporarily fill the vacant slot. Sm1llee is no stranger to the team, having previously competed under JANO’s banner from December 2022 to June 2024. His return will see him serve as a stand-in for upcoming tournaments, helping the squad maintain stability as they continue their competitive run.

With these adjustments, Henri “HENU” Ylilehto has stepped up to assume the role of in-game leader, taking over strategic responsibilities and calling the shots for the team. JANO currently holds 114th place in HLTV’s world rankings, and they will be looking to improve their standing as they integrate their revised roster into upcoming competitions.

The team’s current lineup now includes:

  • Aleksi “allu” Jalli
  • Henri “HENU” Ylilehto
  • Jani “Aerial” Jussila
  • Joel “jelo” Lentonen
  • Joona “Sm1llee” Holmström (stand-in)

Guiding the squad from behind the scenes remains head coach Slaava “Twista” Räsänen.
