According to unconfirmed reports, Dastan “dastan” Akbayev is expected to become the new coach for PARIVISION’s Counter-Strike 2 team. Insider Alexey “OverDrive” Birukov shared this information on his Telegram channel.
Akbayev is set to replace Ivan “F_1N” Kochugov, who was benched by the organization just yesterday. However, due to tournament regulations, Dastan won’t be able to coach the team at the upcoming RMR, as F_1N was registered as the coach for this event.
Dastan, a Kazakhstani esports professional, served as Virtus.pro’s coach from December 2019 until May 2024, when he was placed on the bench with the potential for future involvement. On October 24, Dastan officially left the organization and became a free agent.
PARIVISION currently holds the 67th position in the global Counter-Strike 2 rankings as per HLTV.org. The team is preparing to compete in the RMR, which is scheduled for later this month.
The current PARIVISION lineup includes Andrey “BELCHONOKK” Yasinskiy, Robert “Patsi” Isyanov, Alexey “Qikert” Golubev, Artem “ArtFr0st” Kharitonov and Daniil “alpha” Demin.
