NRG has made a significant roster change, bringing in Jeorge “Jeorge” Endicott to replace Timothy “autimatic” Ta, who has been moved to the bench. This move highlights the organization’s efforts to revamp its lineup and improve performance in the competitive North American Counter-Strike scene.
Jeorge, often compared to elite players for his skill, has spent the past year with Nouns, consistently delivering strong performances. Over 2024, he was the team’s standout player, achieving a 1.18 rating despite the team’s inability to qualify for either the PGL Major Copenhagen or the Perfect World Shanghai Major. Expressing excitement about the transition, Jeorge shared his enthusiasm for joining NRG, stating that he’s eager to prove himself in the server.
Meanwhile, autimatic reflected on his recent form, admitting he hasn’t performed at his best since the release of CS2. He acknowledged the decision to bench him came before he could implement changes to improve his gameplay, signaling a sense of regret but also determination to work on his performance.
Since re-entering the Counter-Strike scene in late 2023, NRG has faced persistent challenges in securing results. Despite several roster adjustments, the team has struggled to qualify for major tournaments. The most recent roster overhaul in July saw the addition of veteran in-game leader Nick “nitr0” Cannella, which slightly improved results. However, the team still failed to qualify for significant events like the Perfect World Shanghai Major Americas RMR after key losses to Nouns and Legacy during the closed qualifiers.
With Jeorge now on board, the current NRG roster includes Vincent “Brehze” Cayonte, Josh “oSee” Ohm, Jadan “HexT” Postma, and Nick “nitr0” Cannella, with Damian “daps” Steele continuing as the team’s coach. Timothy “autimatic” Ta remains on the bench as NRG continues to seek the ideal configuration to elevate their competitive standing.
