Brazilian rifler Lucas “lux” Meneghini has officially joined Legacy, marking his move from paiN and completing the team’s active lineup.
Following Vinicius “n1ssim” Pereira’s signing earlier in the week, lux becomes the second new player to join Legacy, solidifying their roster for upcoming competitions.
In addition to changing teams, lux will take on a new role as the in-game leader for Legacy. Expressing his enthusiasm, he stated on X, “I’m excited to begin my journey as captain with players I’ve always aspired to work with.”
The 22-year-old transitions to Legacy after a solid stint with paiN, where he maintained a 1.12 rating throughout 2024. During his time there, he played a key role in the team’s attendance at both Majors and their near-success at reaching the IEM Cologne playoffs. However, it appears he was not part of paiN’s vision for the 2025 season.
Reports suggest that paiN is preparing to bring in David “dav1deuS” Tapia Maldonado as lux’s replacement, with an official announcement expected soon, according to Dust2.com.br.
