Brazilian esports organization Imperial has officially finalized its Counter-Strike 2 lineup, welcoming Richard “chayJESUS” Seidy as the newest member of the squad. The move follows the recent departure of João “felps” Vasconcellos, who was transferred to RED Canids. The news was confirmed via Imperial’s official X social media account.

chayJESUS last competed under Fluxo, where he was an active player between October 2023 and August 2024. However, after being benched by the organization, he has remained inactive in professional play. Since the start of his Counter-Strike career in 2017, the Brazilian player has accumulated $32,000 in prize earnings and built a reputation as a capable competitor in South America’s competitive scene.

With this latest signing, Imperial aims to strengthen its roster as it heads into upcoming tournaments. The team’s first test with its updated lineup is scheduled for January 31 at 01:30 CET, where they will face Bad News Chickens in CCT Season 2 South America Series 6. Imperial currently holds the 26th position in HLTV’s global rankings and will be looking to climb even higher with their latest roster adjustment.

Imperial’s current roster now consists of:

  • Vinicius “VINI” Figueiredo
  • Kaiky “noway” Santos
  • Lucas “decenty” Bacelar
  • Santino “try” Rigal
  • Richard “chayJESUS” Seidy

The team continues to be guided by head coach Rafael “zakk” Fernandes, who will oversee their development and strategy as they prepare for upcoming matches in the South American CS2 circuit.
