Sources have confirmed to HLTV that Gaimin Gladiators have decided to release their Counter-Strike roster. On Tuesday evening, the players were informed that their contracts were being terminated with immediate effect.

Gaimin Gladiators, renowned for their dominant DOTA 2 lineup, re-entered the Counter-Strike scene in April 2024 by signing ECSTATIC’s roster, which had recently reached the Elimination Stage of the Copenhagen Major. However, the team struggled to replicate this success under the Canadian organization, even after adding prominent players Nico “nicoodoz” Tamjidi and Fredrik “roeJ” Jørgensen in July as replacements for Patrick “Patti” Larsen and Jason “salazar” Salazar.

The team’s performance declined steadily, remaining outside the top 30 rankings since May and finishing last in both the MESA Nomadic Masters Spring and XSE Pro League without securing a single win.

The first player to confirm his exit was nicoodoz. The Danish AWPer took to X to announce his status as a free agent following the roster’s dismissal.

Gaimin Gladiators have yet to issue an official statement regarding the roster disbandment or their future plans in Counter-Strike. The team’s final lineup consisted of:

Denmark Magnus “Nodios” Olsen
Denmark Jonas “Queenix” Dideriksen
Denmark Tobias “kraghen” Kragh Jensen
Denmark Fredrik “roeJ” Jørgensen
Denmark Nico “nicoodoz” Tamjidi

Denmark Peter “casle” Ardenskjold (coach)

Denmark Patrick “Patti” Larsen (benched)
Denmark Jason “salazar” Salazar (benched)
