Jonathan “EliGE” Jablonowski has officially joined FaZe, completing a transfer from Complexity. The American star steps into the role previously held by Robin “ropz” Kool, who is reportedly nearing a move to Vitality on a free transfer.

The 27-year-old transitions to FaZe following an 18-month stint with Complexity, where he secured a single title at ESL Challenger Jönköping. Despite the team’s overall struggles to consistently advance in top-tier events, EliGE maintained his status as a top-tier player, finishing 2024 with a 1.17 LAN rating and earning the 19th spot in HLTV’s Top 20 Players of the Year ranking.

At the conclusion of Complexity’s season, which ended in the Opening Stage of the Shanghai Major, EliGE expressed his determination to seek new opportunities that would place him in a stronger position to compete for titles in 2025. His move to FaZe represents a fresh start and a significant addition to the team.

FaZe, who faced challenges in maintaining consistent form throughout the previous season, now aim to bounce back with EliGE onboard. Under Finn “karrigan” Andersen’s leadership, the squad reached the finals of four LAN events in 2024, including both Majors, but managed to claim only one trophy at IEM Chengdu.

EliGE will make his debut with FaZe at BLAST Bounty Season 1, the inaugural Big Event of 2025, scheduled to kick off on January 14. This event will feature 32 teams competing for a prize pool of $500,000.

The updated FaZe lineup now comprises:

  • Norway Håvard “rain” Nygaard
  • Denmark Finn “karrigan” Andersen
  • Latvia Helvijs “broky” Saukants
  • Slovakia David “frozen” Čerňanský
  • United States Jonathan “EliGE” Jablonowski

Filip “NEO” Kubski from Poland will continue as the team’s coach.
