Complexity has confirmed the acquisition of Danny “cxzi” Strzelczyk and Nick “nicx” Lee, completing their lineup after the recent exits of Jonathan “EliGE” Jablonowski and Ricky “floppy” Kemery. This announcement aligns with a prior report from Dust2.us.

The roster overhaul comes in the wake of a disappointing competitive year, with the team’s most recent setback being an early exit from the Perfect World Shanghai Major during the Opening Stage. Shortly after this event, floppy was moved to the bench, and EliGE departed amidst speculation of a potential transfer to FaZe. Complexity has now opted to focus on local talent for their rebuild.

cxzi, a seasoned figure in the North American scene, has been active for nearly five years. Most recently, he competed alongside Joshua “steel” Nissan in ESEA Advanced Season 48, where Undone earned promotion to the ESL Challenger League through Relegation. cxzi stood out with an impressive 1.27 rating across 10 maps during this campaign.

In contrast, nicx is a newer face in competitive play, making his debut in the ESL Challenger League during Season 45. Over the past year, he played for LAG, achieving a 1.12 rating and securing a victory at Fragadelphia Philadelphia early in 2024. Recently, he trialed with Nouns before being recruited by Complexity.

With these changes, Complexity’s roster now consists of:

  • South Africa Johnny “JT” Theodosiou
  • Norway Håkon “hallzerk” Fjærli
  • United States Michael “Grim” Wince
  • United States Danny “cxzi” Strzelczyk
  • United States Nick “nicx” Lee

The team is coached by South Africa’s Tiaan “T.c” Coertzen.
