1WIN has revealed their restructured roster after failing to qualify for the Perfect World Shanghai Major Europe RMR. The Russian organization made major changes, benching and transfer-listing players such as neaLaN, Ryujin, and buster in early September. During the same period, they also parted ways with coach Aset “Solaar” Sembiyev.
To reinforce the team, 1WIN has brought back three players who were previously associated with the organization. Rassim “Jyo” Valijev will take on the role of in-game leader, joined by Alexandr “oz1k” Sevastyanov and Kirill “cronuss” Savin. Jyo previously played for 1WIN earlier in the year, while oz1k and cronuss were part of the academy team before reuniting with Jyo in Enjoy.
1WIN spent the early part of the year without a solid lineup, as their previous roster, which included notable names like Denis “deko” Zhukov and Kirill “Boombl4” Mikhailov, disbanded in late 2023. In April, 1WIN assembled a roster featuring buster and neaLaN, which showed initial promise by placing second in Hellcase Cup 9 and finishing in the top four of CCT Season 2 Europe Series 3. However, the team’s performance declined, and Abay “HObbit” Khassenov replaced Jyo in July. The changes, however, did not improve results, prompting the organization to overhaul the roster after failing to advance through the EU RMR closed qualifier for the Perfect World Shanghai Major.
In their statement, 1WIN mentioned that their previous lineup was built heavily on the experience and authority of their coach. By mid-season, it became clear that the team wasn’t progressing at a satisfactory pace, leading to the revamp.
The current 1WIN roster now includes lattykk from Russia, HObbit from Kazakhstan, Jyo from Estonia, and Russians oz1k and cronuss.
