The first map, Inferno, was evenly contested, with both halves ending 8-4, ultimately leading to overtime, where The MongolZ triumphed 16-13. On Dust2, paiN initially struggled but managed to fight back, forcing the game into overtime, where they won 16-14. The third map, Mirage, saw paiN take an 8-4 lead at halftime, but The MongolZ made an incredible comeback by winning nine rounds in a row, ultimately taking the map 13-8 and advancing to the quarterfinals for the second straight tournament.

SAW vs FlyQuest
In the next match, the stakes were high, as the loser would be eliminated from the tournament. The first map, Inferno, was a close contest, ending in overtime with a 16-14 victory for SAW. On Dust2, FlyQuest put up a strong fight, winning the first half 8-4 and securing the map with a 13-7 score in the second half. The third map, Ancient, was tightly contested in the first half, which ended in a 6-6 draw. The second half remained close, but FlyQuest’s key victories in crucial rounds led them to a 13-9 win.

Fourth Day Matches
The matchups for the fourth day of the event have been announced, with the outcomes determining which three teams will progress to the playoffs and which will be eliminated from the tournament.

PGL Cluj-Napoca 2025 is being held from February 14 to 23 in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. Sixteen teams are competing for a share of the $1,250,000 prize pool.
