The Portuguese team, SAW, managed to avoid finishing last in their final tournament together, overcoming some tough moments to secure their place and eliminate FlyQuest from PGL Cluj-Napoca.

FlyQuest’s journey ended in last place after a frustrating defeat to SAW, a team already on the brink of disbandment. At the start of the year, the Australians made a bold move by replacing Alistair “aliStair” Johnston with Iulian “regali” Harjău, and it initially looked promising with a 2-0 win over MIBR online. However, FlyQuest’s momentum quickly faded as they went on to lose six straight matches.

Inferno, once a reliable map for the team in 2024, has turned into a liability in 2025, with FlyQuest losing four out of five matches on it. Their most recent loss, a narrow 16-14 defeat to SAW, came after FlyQuest held 9-5 and 11-8 leads on their T-side, but a late comeback from SAW dashed their hopes.

Despite a strong performance on Dust2 that briefly revived their chances, FlyQuest’s fate was sealed after a loss on Ancient in the decider map, ending their tournament run.
