M80 clinched the final spot for the BLAST Open Lisbon 2025 after emerging victorious in the ACE North American Masters Spring 2025 – BLAST Premier Rising Event for Counter-Strike 2. In the grand final, M80 defeated BOSS with a 2-0 score, earning their place in the upcoming event.
The ACE North American Masters Spring 2025 took place from February 13 to 14 and saw teams such as NRG, Nouns, and other North American contenders battling it out. However, no prize money was awarded for participation in the competition.
With M80’s qualification, the team roster for BLAST Open Lisbon 2025 is now complete. The tournament is set to run from March 19 to 30, 2025. The initial stage will be played in a GSL format at the BLAST studio in Copenhagen, with the top teams advancing to the playoffs in Lisbon, Portugal.
The total prize pool for the event amounts to $1.1 million, with $400,000 allocated to the main tournament prize, and the remaining $700,000 distributed as guaranteed payments to the participating teams.
