BC.Game have secured the championship at CCT S2 Europe Series 19, capping off an impressive start to 2025 by defeating fnatic in the grand final. This marks the first title for the squad since forming under Nemanja “nexa” Isaković’s leadership, solidifying their resurgence after a challenging period last year.
Their journey to the trophy began in the closed qualifier on February 21, where they worked their way through the playoffs with victories over BIG, Passion UA, and Metizport before meeting Benjamin “blameF” Bremer’s fnatic in the final showdown.
The team primarily consists of four players from the former BLEED roster, which was originally put together by Aleksandar “kassad” Trifunović. Despite struggling to make a breakthrough in 2024, the core has found a fresh rhythm this year, delivering consistent performances across multiple events. Their tournament run here builds upon two second-place finishes at the European Pro League S19 and CCT EU S19, proving that their recent improvements are no fluke.
Individually, Tim “nawwk” Jonasson was the standout performer for BC.Game, finishing the event with a 1.18 rating. However, their success was a collective effort, as all four former BLEED players maintained ratings of at least 1.09, highlighting the well-rounded nature of the team’s performance.
This title win also brings a ranking boost, pushing BC.Game up to 21st place in the provisional Valve Global Standings. This positioning puts them in contention for invites to most 24-team tier-one tournaments, an important step in their continued climb up the competitive ranks.
As for fnatic, their efforts earned them a ranking increase to 24th following an exhausting schedule that saw them play 31 maps over just four days since March 8. While they fell short in the grand final, their deep run in the tournament shows promise as they look to build momentum for upcoming competitions.
With this victory, BC.Game firmly establish themselves as a rising force in 2025, setting their sights on even greater achievements in the months ahead.
