Astralis have advanced to the semi-finals of the BLAST Premier World Final following a 2-0 win over MOUZ, marking their second victory in the tournament after beating Natus Vincere in the initial round. The Danish team has been performing impressively despite captain Casper “cadiaN” Møller playing with an elbow injury, as seen when he visibly winced after clutching a critical 1vs1 against Ludvig “Brollan” Brolin.
The match unfolded on Vertigo, chosen by Astralis, and Nuke. Astralis asserted control early on, dominating their T-side with a 10-round lead in the first half of Vertigo, which helped them secure a swift 1-0 despite a brief comeback attempt by MOUZ.
On Nuke, a 7-5 lead on the CT side gave Astralis a comfortable foundation for their aggressive T-side. Although they dropped the first two rounds of the half, they rebounded with a strong 6-2 run to clinch both the map and the series.
Victor “Staehr” Staehr, Nicolai “device” Reedtz, and Jakob “jabbi” Nygaard delivered standout performances in a cohesive team effort, propelling Astralis directly to the semi-finals while placing MOUZ in the quarter-finals to continue their tournament journey.
