FlyQuest has completed its roster overhaul with the signing of Corey “nettik” Browne, a promising talent from New Zealand. The 21-year-old joins the team as a replacement for Christopher “dexter” Nong, who was recently benched. In addition to this roster change, Joshua “INS” Potter will now take on the role of in-game leader, marking a shift in the team’s leadership structure.
The addition of nettik injects fresh firepower into the lineup, as he has long been regarded as one of the most skilled riflers in the Oceania region. His rise to prominence began during his time with Rooster, where he consistently delivered standout performances from a young age. His reputation continued to grow during a brief but impressive tenure with TALON, a stint that was cut short when the Hong Kong-based organization decided to disband its roster after only seven months. TALON cited challenges in providing the necessary support to compete across all available tournaments, particularly in relation to VRS events, as the reason for the move.
Before officially donning the FlyQuest jersey, nettik will compete in one final event with his former teammates at the DFRAG Invitational in Brisbane, Australia, scheduled for March 20-23. His first official appearance with FlyQuest will take place on home soil at IEM Melbourne, where the team will look to establish itself as a dominant force in the region.
With this finalized lineup, FlyQuest is set to move forward under INS’s leadership. The newly appointed captain expressed confidence in his ability to guide the team, emphasizing his eagerness to build a structured system alongside coach Erdenetsogt “erkaSt” Gantulga. The organization hopes that this refreshed roster, with nettik adding firepower and INS bringing strategic direction, will pave the way for greater success in the upcoming tournaments.
