Sashi has officially removed Alexander “Altekz” Givskov from its active roster, the organization confirmed on Tuesday. The departure comes just over three months after the 21-year-old joined the team in late November. At the time, Sashi was undergoing roster adjustments following what head coach Nicolai “HUNDEN” Petersen described as a difficult autumn season.

Despite efforts to turn things around, the team failed to regain stability in the competitive scene. Following a sharp drop in performance, Sashi fell from their previous standing near the top 30 of the HLTV world rankings to below the top 50, and recent struggles have seen them slip even further to 66th place—their lowest ranking in nearly a year. Throughout 2025, they have amassed a 13-23 win-loss record, leading to multiple early exits from events such as the CCT series and the PGL Bucharest closed qualifier.

In response to these disappointing results, Sashi acknowledged the need for roster adjustments to refine their approach. “The coming period will be about regaining our consistency at the higher level of Counter-Strike we saw previously. To accommodate this goal, we have accepted changes are needed to find the right balance between firepower, team chemistry, and game philosophy,” HUNDEN stated.

While Sashi has yet to confirm a permanent replacement for Altekz, the team has been competing with Nikolaj “niko” Kristensen in recent matches. Reports from Dust2.dk suggest that he is a leading candidate to take over the vacant spot on a full-time basis.

Sashi’s next challenge comes in the Galaxy Battle 2025 STARTER tournament, where they are set to face Aurora. With no official confirmation on the final roster, the organization will be under pressure to make a decision soon as they attempt to regain momentum and climb back up the rankings.

Currently, the Sashi roster consists of Philip “Lucky” Ewald, Casper “Cabbi” Jensen, Oliver “IceBerg” Berg, and Rasmus “Zyphon” Nordfoss, with Nicolai “HUNDEN” Petersen continuing to guide the team as head coach.
