BLAST has officially revealed the group allocations, initial matchups, and seedings for the upcoming BLAST Open Lisbon, set to kick off on March 19. The first stage of the competition will take place at the BLAST Studios in Copenhagen, Denmark, before shifting to the MEO Arena in Lisbon for the high-stakes playoff phase. One of the most anticipated early clashes will see MOUZ and Falcons face off, a rematch of the grand final from the PGL Cluj-Napoca event.

A total of 16 teams will compete in the tournament, with 12 directly invited squads and four teams that earned their spots through qualifiers (Astralis, ATOX, M80, and Imperial). The seeding has been determined based on the latest Valve ranking, ensuring a balanced and competitive group stage:

The tournament structure will feature two groups of eight teams, each following a double-elimination format. The top six teams from this stage will secure spots in the playoffs in Lisbon. The groups are divided as follows:

Group A consists of Spirit, Vitality, FaZe, MOUZ, Falcons, Virtus.pro, Astralis, and Imperial, while Group B includes G2, The MongolZ, Natus Vincere, Eternal Fire, Liquid, FURIA, ATOX, and M80.

Among the most anticipated first-round matches, Group A will see MOUZ take on Falcons in a heated rematch of the PGL Cluj-Napoca final, while The MongolZ and ATOX will go head-to-head in a Mongolian derby within Group B.

The full schedule for the opening matchups is as follows:

On March 19, Spirit will face Imperial at 12:00, followed by MOUZ vs. Falcons at 14:30, Vitality against Astralis at 17:00, and FaZe taking on Virtus.pro at 19:30. The action continues on March 20 with G2 vs. M80 at 12:00, Eternal Fire vs. Liquid at 14:30, The MongolZ vs. ATOX at 17:00, and finally, Natus Vincere vs. FURIA at 19:30.
