The lineup for the closed European qualifier for PGL Bucharest 2025, one of the biggest upcoming Counter-Strike 2 tournaments, has now been finalized. A total of 32 teams will compete for a single spot at the main event, with a mix of squads that earned their place through open qualifiers and others who received direct invitations based on Valve’s ranking system.

Eight teams successfully navigated the open qualifier stage and secured their participation in the closed qualifier. Among them are Ninjas in Pyjamas, OG, Rebels, Leo, CYBERSHOKE, BASEMENT BOYS, ARCRED, and Roler Coaster. Meanwhile, 24 additional teams have been granted direct invites, including well-known names such as BIG, BetBoom Team, 500, fnatic, ENCE, Passion UA, Partizan, ECLOT, Team Spirit Academy, NAVI Junior, and others.

The tournament format will see all competing teams split into four groups, where they will face off in a Double Elimination best-of-three system. The top team from each group will advance to the playoffs, which will follow a Single Elimination structure. Ultimately, only one roster will emerge victorious and claim a coveted spot at the PGL Bucharest 2025 main event.

The qualifier is set to take place from February 28 to March 8, leading up to the main tournament, which is scheduled to run from April 5 to April 13 in the Romanian capital. The PGL Bucharest 2025 event itself boasts an impressive $1.25 million prize pool, making it one of the most significant competitions on the CS2 calendar.
