The Champions of Champions Tour (CCT) has officially announced the return of its Global Finals, an online event featuring some of the best tier-two teams from around the world. Scheduled to take place between April 24 and April 27, the tournament will once again be an invite-only competition, gathering eight teams based on regional VRS rankings.

A total of six European squads will receive invitations, starting with the team ranked ninth in the region’s VRS standings. Meanwhile, North America and South America will each send their top-ranked team, rounding out the eight contenders set to battle for the championship. These teams will compete in a double-elimination bracket, with all matches played in a best-of-three format. A total of $150,000 in prize money will be up for grabs, making this a high-stakes event for organizations looking to break into the upper echelon of competitive play.

In an official statement, CCT emphasized its ongoing commitment to fostering talent outside the top tier, highlighting that the Global Finals serve as a vital bridge for emerging teams aspiring to compete at the highest level. The tournament is positioned as a proving ground for those seeking to make their mark on the international stage, offering a platform where rising squads can challenge established names and gain valuable exposure.

This marks the second iteration of the CCT Global Finals, following the inaugural edition in 2024. That event concluded with Eternal Fire claiming the championship, overcoming Liquid in a hard-fought grand final. With a fresh lineup of teams set to enter the fray this year, anticipation is building to see which organization will rise to the occasion and etch their name into the tournament’s history.
