Adam “adamS” Marian has officially been unveiled as the newest addition to 9z’s roster. His arrival fills the vacancy left by Franco “dgt” Garcia, who recently stepped down from the starting lineup. The organization confirmed his signing, marking an exciting new chapter for the team.
The Romanian-Spanish player traveled to Argentina shortly after the announcement and has now linked up with his new squad. His first match with 9z is set for Wednesday when they take on ODDIK in the opening match of the CCT Season 2 South American Series 7 playoffs. Expectations are high as fans eagerly anticipate his debut performance in the team’s signature purple colors.
With roots in Romania but a career spanning multiple top-tier teams in both Romania and Spain, adamS has built a solid reputation in the Counter-Strike scene. He played for Nexus early in his career before making a name for himself on Movistar Riders, which later transitioned into KOI. One of his standout moments came when he competed in the PGL CS2 Major in Copenhagen with KOI, as well as when he helped the team reach the quarter-finals of ESL Pro League Season 18.
That ESL Pro League run was particularly significant for adamS, as it was there that he teamed up with talented AWPer Antonio “MartinezSa” Martinez. The duo delivered an impressive performance, notably eliminating 9z in the second round of the playoffs before securing a quarter-final spot. Now, fate has brought them back together, but this time, they will be fighting on the same side, representing 9z.
With this latest roster move, 9z continues to strengthen its lineup in preparation for the challenges ahead. The team now consists of players from multiple South American and European countries, creating a unique blend of talent and experience.
