After months of searching for a new team, Jordanian rifler Mohammad “BOROS” Malhas has officially signed with JiJieHao, the Chinese organization announced on Monday. The 20-year-old arrives at JiJieHao on a permanent basis, having briefly filled in for the team during their 0-2 loss to SINNERS in the ESL Challenger League last week. He will take the spot previously held by fellow Jordanian Issa “ISSAA” Murad, who has now been moved to the bench.

On social media, ISSAA shared that he is open to stepping into the role of in-game leader, stating, “I’m really hungry for my next step, where I can give everything I can to play on top.”

BOROS had been without a team since October after being released by Into the Breach, where he spent just two months before being benched. His brief tenure with the team lasted only 41 days, before being replaced by Hristiyan “REDSTAR” Pironkov. In a post following his benching, he expressed that he was “happy” to experience it for the first time in his career.

JiJieHao explained the roster change on social media, emphasizing that the decision was made to “make the right adjustments to help us push forward and unlock our full potential.” Despite the change, the team has yet to secure a victory in the ESL Challenger League and recently faced early elimination in the closed qualifier for BLAST Rising Asia, finishing 9th-12th after losses to Rare Atom and Fated Rise.

The revamped JiJieHao lineup is set to compete in their first official event in the MENA Closed Qualifier for the MESA Asian Masters, which will serve as a qualifier for PGL Bucharest 2025.

With the changes, JiJieHao’s current roster now consists of:

  • Hussein “m1N1” Hijazi (Lebanon)
  • Denislav “dennyslaw” Dimitrov (Bulgaria)
  • Áron “Aaron” Homoki (Hungary)
  • Bebu “Bibu” Aadil (Iraq)
  • Mohammad “BOROS” Malhas (Jordan)

With Markus “Kjaerbye” Kjærbye (Denmark) and Issa “ISSAA” Murad (Jordan) both benched.
