The French esports organization 3DMAX has officially announced the addition of Alexandre “bodyy” Pianaro to their roster, marking the veteran player’s return to the French Counter-Strike competitive scene. At 28 years old, bodyy joins the team just in time for their participation in the PGL Cluj-Napoca 2025 LAN event, where they aim to enhance their standing in the tournament.

Shifts in Team Leadership

Brian “Maka” Kanda, who has been the primary AWP player for the team, will continue in his role as captain, leaving bodyy to focus on his responsibilities as a referee. This change is intended to leverage bodyy’s extensive experience, which is expected to provide both strategic depth and stability to the team’s gameplay.

“I’m thrilled to be part of this team, which has already achieved so much last season, and to represent France once again,” bodyy shared on X. “Thanks to everyone for the support! I’ll see you all tomorrow for the IEM Dallas closed qualifiers!”

Reuniting with Familiar Faces

Joining 3DMAX allows bodyy the opportunity to team up once more with former DBL PONEY teammates Pierre “Ex3rcice” Boulanger and Lucas “Lucky” Shastang. Together, they are hopeful to recapture their previous synergy and perform at their highest potential.

Bodyy’s inclusion also marks a shift in the team’s playing style, as he replaces Tom “Djoko” Pavoni, bringing a more aggressive approach to the team’s lineup. According to head coach Damien “wasiNk” Dufour, bodyy’s addition is expected to significantly enhance the tactical and overall stability of the team.

Team’s Official Announcement and Bodyy’s Response

3DMAX took to social media to celebrate the signing, welcoming bodyy with the following message: “New player, new ambitions. Welcome to 3DMAX, Alexandre ‘bodyy’ Pianaro! You’re a demon now, bodyy.”

Bodyy expressed his enthusiasm for the challenge ahead, emphasizing his commitment to helping the team reach new heights: “I’m determined to use my experience to help elevate the team’s performance.”
