Swedish esports organization GODSENT is making a comeback in the Counter-Strike 2 competitive scene with plans to assemble a new Swedish roster. The organization also intends to revive its CS2 academy program, marking a fresh chapter in its history. The announcement was officially shared on GODSENT’s X social media account, where the club addressed its challenging past year and its renewed ambitions for the future.

Reflecting on the struggles they endured throughout 2024, GODSENT acknowledged the significant hurdles they faced, which forced a complete reconstruction of the organization from the ground up. In the statement, the club expressed its resilience, emphasizing that despite setbacks, they are moving forward with determination and laying a solid foundation for the future. They also revealed that while financial obligations remain, they are actively working towards restoring the organization’s competitive standing.

As part of their new direction, the club will be unveiling its new Swedish Valorant roster later today, while preparations for a new Swedish CS2 squad are already in progress. Additionally, GODSENT plans to expand its CS division further, focusing on developing young talent through its revived academy initiative, the Young Gods project.

This initiative follows GODSENT’s previous attempt at assembling a CS2 roster in August 2024, which was comprised of players from the Young Gods academy alongside Frank “Fraaank” Issal and Timmy “Snow” Brune. However, the squad struggled to make an impact, earning less than $800 in prize money from online events, leading to its disbandment in December 2024.

Now, with a fresh vision and a renewed focus on both veteran and up-and-coming Swedish talent, GODSENT is gearing up to reestablish itself as a force in Counter-Strike 2. The organization remains committed to rebuilding, refining its structure, and preparing for long-term success in the competitive esports landscape.
