RED Canids have completed their lineup by securing Marcelo “nyezin” Ramos as their final player and bringing in Pedro “betinho” Umberto as their new head coach. These additions mark the final steps in their roster overhaul following the recent signing of João “felps” Vasconcellos.
The announcement also confirmed that Henrique “HEN1” Teles has now officially joined the team on a permanent basis. The experienced AWPer was initially brought in on loan from Imperial midway through the previous year, and he will now continue his tenure as a core member of RED Canids moving forward.
nyezin joins after a stint with Case, where he competed at the Perfect World Shanghai Major Americas RMR. Prior to that, he was part of paiN Academy, where he honed his skills before making his way to the professional circuit. During his time with Case, he proved to be one of the team’s standout performers, maintaining a 1.06 rating across competitions.
In addition to securing their fifth player, RED Canids have also reinforced their coaching staff by appointing betinho, who arrives from Case after spending 18 months leading the team. This is not his first time working with RED Canids—he previously coached the squad for a five-month spell at the start of 2023, making his return a familiar transition.
The revamped lineup is set to make its debut in the upcoming ESL Challenger League South America, where RED Canids will face off against UNO MILLE in their first official match with the new roster.
The current RED Canids squad now consists of:
- Marcelo “coldzera” David (Brazil)
- Carlos “venomzera” Eduardo (Brazil)
- Henrique “HEN1” Teles (Brazil)
- João “felps” Vasconcellos (Brazil)
- Marcelo “nyezin” Ramos (Brazil)
