Fnatic has unveiled Peter “casle” Ardenskjold as the team’s head coach for the 2025 season, alongside Miks “Independent” Siliņš, who joins as assistant coach. This announcement marks the culmination of fnatic’s roster overhaul during the off-season.

The Danish coach steps into the role following Jamie “keita” Hall’s departure in December. With a coaching résumé that includes stints with Astralis, ECSTATIC, and Gaimin Gladiators, casle brings a wealth of experience from the Danish scene. His expertise is expected to be instrumental in shaping fnatic’s gameplay and strategy in the upcoming competitive year.

The coaching duo’s arrival completes fnatic’s winter rebuild, which has also seen significant changes to the player roster. Alexandre “bodyy” Pianaro and Tim “nawwk” Jonasson were replaced by Ukrainian players Rodion “fear” Smyk and Denys “Burmylov” Buraga. The team now boasts a mix of seasoned veterans and promising young talent, setting the stage for a fresh start in 2025.

The current fnatic roster is led by Swedish veteran Freddy “KRIMZ” Johansson and includes Denmark’s Benjamin “blameF” Bremer, Slovakia’s Matúš “MATYS” Šimko, and the recently added Ukrainian duo fear and Burmylov. This multinational lineup aims to bring a new level of versatility and skill to fnatic’s gameplay, with casle and Independent providing the strategic foundation from the sidelines.

With these changes, fnatic hopes to regain its competitive edge and return to the top tier of Counter-Strike. The organization’s commitment to revitalizing the team is evident in its selection of casle, whose leadership and tactical acumen are expected to drive the squad forward in their pursuit of success.
