Ninjas in Pyjamas (NIP) have officially announced the departure of Isak “isak” Fahlén, concluding the Swedish player’s eight-month run with the team.

The decision follows a report from HLTV, which revealed that NIP were planning a comprehensive roster overhaul. According to the report, Artem “r1nkle” Moroz is expected to be the sole remaining player in the lineup, which will now be led by Marco “Snappi” Pfeiffer.

isak joined NIP in May 2024 after spending three years with GamerLegion. His arrival was part of a larger restructuring effort that began in February of the same year. During his time with the organization, the 23-year-old experienced some initial success, notably securing a second-place finish at YaLLa Compass. In the process, NIP climbed to 16th in the world rankings, outperforming teams like Eternal Fire and HEROIC at the LAN event.

However, NIP struggled to maintain this momentum, with few notable achievements during isak’s tenure. Most recently, the team failed to secure a spot at the Perfect World Shanghai Major. They also fell short at smaller tournaments such as Elisa Masters Espoo and underperformed in tier-two online competitions, ultimately slipping out of the top 30 in the global rankings.

The current Ninjas in Pyjamas lineup consists of South Africa’s Gareth “MisteM” Ries and Ukraine’s Artem “r1nkle” Moroz, with Richard “Xizt” Landström from Sweden serving as the coach. Meanwhile, Spain’s Alejandro “alex” Masanet and Sweden’s Max “maxster” Jansson remain on the bench.
