The Thunderpick World Championship has officially finalized its team list, with The MongolZ securing their spot as the 16th and final qualifier. They will compete for one of four available slots in the LAN Finals, which are set to take place in Berlin. The prize pool for this prestigious event totals a whopping $500,000 for the winning team.
Among the participants, The MongolZ are joined by other high-ranking teams such as Aurora, Ninjas in Pyjamas, 9z, and 3DMAX. These teams will battle it out from October 21-26 in the online stage, aiming for an invitation to Berlin in November.
The groups have been announced, and fans are particularly excited to see Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev make his second appearance for Falcons, as they face off against 3DMAX in the tournament opener on October 21 at 11:30.
Additionally, M80 and BESTIA will make their way across the Atlantic to compete in Group D, where they will face tough competition, including the top-seeded team led by Elias “s1n” Stein.

The tournament will feature four GSL groups, with the winners advancing to an eight-team play-in. Each play-in match winner will secure a place in the Berlin LAN Finals.
Out of the total $850,000 prize pool, $770,000 will be distributed at the Berlin Finals. Teams placing 5th to 8th, after losing in the play-in stage, will receive $20,000 each, while the remaining 16 teams will go home empty-handed.
