Jonathan “EliGE” Jablonowski has officially parted ways with Complexity after a year and a half with the North American organization. This announcement follows speculation linking EliGE to FaZe, where he is expected to fill the vacancy left by Robin “ropz” Kool’s departure from the European roster.
EliGE’s time with Complexity saw mixed results, with only a few standout performances during his tenure. Notable achievements included a win at ESL Challenger Jönköping 2024, a second-place finish at IEM Sydney 2023, and reaching the semi-finals of ESL Pro League Season 19. However, these moments were overshadowed by the team’s broader struggles, as Complexity failed to make significant progress in top-tier tournaments. The disappointing season culminated in an early exit during the Opening Stage of the Perfect World Shanghai Major, capping off a lackluster 2024.
Despite the team’s shortcomings, EliGE maintained a high level of individual performance throughout the year. He earned an EVP award at ESL Pro League Season 19 and was recognized as the 19th best player on the Top 20 Players of 2024 list. Over his 227-map run with Complexity, EliGE recorded an impressive 1.20 average rating, underlining his consistency as a top-tier rifler.
With Ricky “floppy” Kemery also recently leaving the roster, Complexity now finds itself with only three active players. Reports from Dust2.us indicate that the organization is eyeing domestic talents Danny “cxzi” Strzelczyk and Nick “nicx” Lee as potential replacements.
Complexity’s current roster includes:
United States Michael “Grim” Wince
South Africa Johnny “JT” Theodosiou
Norway Håkon “hallzerk” Fjærli
South Africa Tiaan “T.c” Coertzen (coach)
