Ricky “floppy” Kemery has parted ways with Complexity after the two sides reached a mutual agreement to terminate his contract, the organization revealed on Wednesday. This decision comes less than four weeks after the 25-year-old was moved to an inactive position within the team.

floppy joined Complexity in January 2022 as part of the acquisition of the Extra Salt roster, which also included Michael “Grim” Wince and Paytyn “junior” Johnson. His tenure with the team spanned nearly three years, during which he participated in multiple Majors, including Antwerp, Paris, Copenhagen, and Shanghai. The only Major he missed was in Rio de Janeiro, where Complexity failed to qualify through the Americas RMR.

In the summer of 2024, floppy played a key role in Complexity’s victory at ESL Challenger Jönköping, their only LAN title during his time on the roster. This win stood out in what was otherwise a disappointing year for the team, as they struggled to maintain the strong performance they had shown early in CS2. Their early success had included reaching the IEM Sydney 2023 final and achieving a spot in the top five of the global rankings.

Complexity’s 2024 season concluded on a sour note with an early elimination at the Shanghai Major after losses to FlyQuest, Passion UA, and BIG. Following this poor showing, the organization decided to bench floppy and release assistant coach James “JamezIRL” Macaulay, who had been with the team since mid-2023.

Floppy has yet to announce his next move, and Complexity has not signed a replacement for him. The team is also expected to seek an additional signing, as Jonathan “EliGE” Jablonowski is reportedly in advanced negotiations with FaZe.

The current Complexity lineup consists of:

United States: Michael “Grim” Wince
South Africa: Johnny “JT” Theodosiou
Norway: Håkon “hallzerk” Fjærli
United States: Jonathan “EliGE” Jablonowski

South Africa: Tiaan “T.c” Coertzen (coach)
