Robin “ropz” Kool has officially parted ways with FaZe after close to three years on the roster. The organization bid him farewell with a video tribute, celebrating his achievements and contributions during his time with the team. This announcement aligns with an earlier report from HLTV, which stated that ropz is set to join Vitality, replacing Lotan “Spinx” Giladi on the European lineup.

Since joining FaZe in January 2022, ropz reunited with his former MOUZ teammate Finn “karrigan” Andersen. The team experienced immediate success following his arrival, clinching titles at IEM Katowice, PGL Major Antwerp, and IEM Cologne.

In 2023, ropz and FaZe continued to dominate, claiming the Intel Grand Slam with their victory at ESL Pro League Season 17. They also made a strong start in CS2, winning IEM Sydney, Thunderpick World Championship, and CS Asia Championships.

However, FaZe’s momentum slowed in 2024, with the team only managing to secure a win at IEM Chengdu while falling short at IEM Katowice and PGL Major Copenhagen. Despite this, ropz showcased a late-year resurgence, helping FaZe reach the finals at the Perfect World Shanghai Major, where they narrowly missed out on the title to Spirit.

HLTV previously reported that FaZe is eyeing Complexity’s standout rifler, Jonathan “EliGE” Jablonowski, to fill the void left by ropz’s departure.
