Maltese tournament organizer Eden Esports has announced the Frost and Fire series launch, a competition specifically designed to support and spotlight tier-3 teams from two continents. With no top-tier teams in attendance, the tournament creates a prime platform for up-and-coming squads to showcase their potential.
The series will begin with the South American stage on December 13, featuring 16 teams competing in a group phase for a share of the $25,000 prize pool. The top eight teams from the group stage will advance to the playoffs, where they will first face one another. Four invited teams will join the remaining four qualifiers by the quarterfinals to compete for the championship.
