A fresh team has emerged on the European Counter-Strike 2 scene, spearheaded by Danish in-game leader Thomas “birdfromsky” Due-Frederiksen, who had been inactive since the dissolution of 00NATION in February this year.
Joining him on this new roster are several experienced players, including Johannes “b0RUP” Borup, Mateusz “m4tthi” Szambelan, Arek “Vegi” Nawojski, and Liam “Licale” Leckremo. This squad will compete under the name Mission Possible, as announced on X (formerly Twitter).
The lineup boasts seasoned players with solid backgrounds: b0RUP, previously with teams like Sashi and Astralis; m4tthi, who had stints with NOM, ex-Anonymo, and Illuminar; and Vegi, known for his time with Permitta, Virtus.pro, and other teams. Meanwhile, the 24-year-old Licale from Sweden is the roster’s least experienced member, having played only six maps recorded on HLTV.
The team will be coached by Kristian “akez” Kornbakk, a former member of Project G and previously a player with teams like Apeks and Nordavind. Mission Possible is actively seeking an organization to represent and is open to tournament invitations.
