The Russian esports organization 9 Pandas is preparing for the off-season by adjusting its roster. Following their elimination from the Perfect World Shanghai Major Europe RMR, two of their longest-standing players, Aleksandr “glowiing” Matsievich and Artem “iDISBALANCE” Egorov, have been moved to the inactive roster and placed on the transfer list.
The team’s journey in the Europe RMR saw them secure wins against Astralis and Aurora but ultimately fall short after losses to G2, Virtus.pro, and Ninjas in Pyjamas, resulting in a 9-11th place finish. Both glowiing and iDISBALANCE joined 9 Pandas during a major roster overhaul in 2023 under former coach Andrey “Xoma” Mironenko, and they have been pivotal members for the past year and seven months. Only Daniil “d1Ledez” Kustov, who joined the team in 2022, has been with the organization longer.
During their tenure, the duo achieved significant milestones, including a victory at PARI Please 2023, where they triumphed over notable teams such as BetBoom, MIBR, FURIA, and Eternal Fire. They also qualified for the PGL Copenhagen Major, though visa complications forced the team to withdraw before the tournament, denying them a Major debut.
The current 9 Pandas lineup features Aleksandr “shalfey” Marenov, Daniil “d1Ledez” Kustov, and Evgeny “r3salt” Frolov, with Artem “Fierce” Ivanov serving as coach. glowiing and iDISBALANCE remain on the roster but are now officially available for transfer.
